These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Maria-E Weight Management website and coaching services, whether in person or online.

By using this site or booking services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

We provide weight management and nutrition coaching for information and educational purposes.
Our services do not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your doctor or other qualified health professional before making major changes to your diet, exercise, medication, or health routine.

2. No medical or nutrition prescription

We do not prescribe medication or diagnose medical conditions. Any suggestions about food, movement, or lifestyle are general recommendations and must be considered in light of your own medical situation.

3. No guarantees

Results vary from person to person. We do not guarantee specific weight loss, body composition, or health outcomes.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Providing accurate and complete information about your health and lifestyle
Consulting your doctor where needed
Deciding which recommendations to follow
Your own safety and wellbeing during any changes you make

You agree to use the information and services at your own risk.

5. Bookings, payments and cancellations

Sessions must be booked in advance via our booking system or directly with us.
Payment is due before/at the time ofthe session or programme start.
Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full.
Refunds are offered only in line with our written refund policy and applicable consumer laws.

6. Online services and time zones

For online sessions with clients inside and outside South Africa, we will agree on a time and platform (e.g. Zoom) in advance. You are responsible for checking the correct time in your own time zone and having a stable internet connection.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this site and in our programmes (text, images, materials, methods) is owned by us unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, share, or resell our materials without our written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your use of this site or our services, except where caused by our gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the site or services means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
